Lovely story thanks very much.
But when I think of my situation at 70 I'm still having to do things that are strenuous and stressful as life events don't stand still, such as aging parents to worry about and dealing with aftermath of death of parents. We are having to do what in previous generations was done in the summer of life and probably didn't involve so much work and problems as today these things are more complex for more of us. When most people didn't have much in the past, property and possessions were simple to sort out.
Time seems to go faster or I don't do as much as I used to and there are things I didn't use to have to do So I don't feel I have more time to do things! This may be that I don't time manage properly! I think I have more time than I have!
I did enjoy reading your story, it was so relaxing too and has made me think about trying to make more time for me. Thanks so much.

Thank you for your story Anne! It's beautiful and I am feeling it, with me too; I love all seasons. Now we are in Autumn, I am enjoying and follwing too, the slow change especially 'Virginia Creeper'.
quote form your story:
“But when your get old like me there’s something very satisfying about not having to rush about and you can allow yourself to drift off.”
unquote
those resonate me.
Thank you again:)
