So sorry I have not replied to you before. I have been hospitalised and ill for some time so have got behind with my mail.

Abuse of any kind should not be tolerated as it makes you feel less than and hits your self esteem. If possible avoid your ex and if you cannot avoid him then shut him down as soon as he becomes abusive, turn off your phone, block his calls etc. Even if you caused the misunderstanding there is no excuse of abuse. But when I think of my situation at 70 I’m still having to do things that are strenuous and stressful as life events don’t stand still, such as aging parents to worry about and dealing with aftermath of death of parents. We are having to do what in previous generations was done in the summer of life and probably didn’t involve so much work and problems as today these things are more complex for more of us. When most people didn’t have much in the past, property and possessions were simple to sort out.
Time seems to go faster or I don’t do as much as I used to and there are things I didn’t use to have to do So I don’t feel I have more time to do things! This may be that I don’t time manage properly! I think I have more time than I have!
I did enjoy reading your story, it was so relaxing too and has made me think about trying to make more time for me. Thanks so much.
