Olivia update

Two weeks ago we had the big day of meeting Livvy (Olivia) at Heathrow when she arrived from Cyprus. Bless her she was very nervous as she came through the door but soon relaxed and snuggled up with Mandy on the back seat. We took her to her new Mum and Dad my friends Lyn and John. It was so lovely to see her playing in the garden – so different from the car park where we found her in the rain shivering, starving and terrified last October.

Lyn is gradually getting her trained to walk without pulling and socialising with other dogs in the park without being so scared and leaping into Lyn’s arms. Lyn and John are doing a wonderful job of rehabilitating this sweet little dog who has has such a traumatic start to her life.

I am off back to Cyprus tomorrow but hopefully will not need to do any more rescuing although we will visit the Center and take some of the dogs for walks.

So well done KAR for caring for our little friend and for Lyn and John for adopting her with all the challenges involved.
