The latest news from our project in Uganda.

These photos are of vulnerable people from Nuboko village where we have been helping the village, the orphanage and the school.

Our whole house/hut solar installation project ( at a cost of £90 each) will take a few years to reach the whole village so in the meantime we have given the most vulnerable low cost individual solar lights (still good quality though). We have handed out over 100 small lights to date over the last 10 years but there is still a need. We are currently installing 5 house solar complete installations.

Because of Corvid 19 the area including the orphanage is suffering from lack of food, so the decision was made for our Ambassador to buy and distribute family bags ok maize flour. See the villagers with the village chairman Juno in front wearing his old Saints yellow shirt.
